10 Disposing of the humidifier
If no return or disposal agreement was made, have disassembled
components recycled:
n Have metals scrapped.
n Send elements made of plastic for recycling.
n Dispose batteries and UV tube as hazardous waste.
n Sort other components acc. to material properties and dispose.

Wrong disposal can pose risks to the environment.
– Electronic waste and electronic components must
be disposed of by authorized certified companies.
– In case of doubt, information about correct dis-
posal can be obtained from the local authorities or
from special waste management companies.
