3. Configuring Time Machine on macOS
1 From the Finder menu bar, navigate to [Go] > [Connect to Server].
2 Enter “afp://” and then the IP address or hostname of your LinkStation, then click [Connect].
3 Enter a username and password to be used for accessing the shared folder and click [Connect].
