7.1 Safety Information

Danger of death due to electric shock!

Before commencing any work on electrical equipment, always unplug the mains cable
from the electrical socket!
•
Any work and/or repairs to the electrical equipment may only be carried out by the service
engineers, the drive manufacturer or qualified and authorised electricians in compliance
with all the relevant VDE and safety regulations!
Crushing hazard due to falling mattress base parts!
•
The bed must be in the home position (with the mattress base horizontal) in order to re-
move the motors. Otherwise, there is a danger of crushing from falling mattress base sec-
tions.
Risk of injury due to faulty maintenance!
•
All drive components are maintenance-free and must not be opened. In the event of a
malfunction, the corresponding components should always be replaced in full!
