7.3 Preparing the brine
● Check that the unit has been properly installed.
● Remove cover (4).
● Pourregenerative(salttabletsaccordingto
DINEN973typeA)intothestoragearea(5).
● Fill the brine cavity (6)withapprox.15litresof
drinking water.
NOTE
If the consumption of a large quantity of
softened water is expected following start-up,
please note: The multi-target lter requires
approx. 3 hours for the brine to form.

● Connect the mains plug when the water
supply is closed.
The display shows StArt and then alternates
between the remaining lter medium capacity
andthedayoftheweek(1to7)withthetime.

Therstregenerationstartsautomatically,runs
for approx. 40 seconds and can be cancelled if
necessary by holding down the OK button (for
4seconds).
Following regeneration, initiate the start-up
ushing:
● Open the water supply line.
● Hold down the Change mode button until Ibn
appears on the display.
Ibn
Flushingrunsfor1minute(ushtimet1).The
valve then moves to the operating position.
The unit is ready for use.
The capacity is preset.
