2 Product description
CAUTION: The device must only be used in a tech-
nically sound condition, in compliance with the
installation and operating instructions and for the
intended range of application.
2.1 The MINISTIL full desalination cartridges
The MINISTIL complete desalination cartridge is based
on blending bed ion exchange technology and removes
virtually all substances dissolved in the water. This
technology delivers pure water of outstanding quality.
MINISTIL desalination technology is suitable for a wide range
of applications. Pure water is required for safe operation
of glass washing machines, ultrasonic air humidifiers and
analysis devices in chemical laboratories, to name just
a few. Raw water that flows through the MINISTIL device
is completely desalinated. Ions dissolved from the water,
which contribute significantly to its electrical conductivity,
are removed. The MINISTIL device can convert drinking
water, which generally has an electrical conductivity of
between 200 and 1000 S/cm, into desalinated water
with a specific electrical conductivity below 1 S/cm. This
corresponds to a salt retention rate of over 99.9%. The
specified production output / capacity may vary by ±20%
depending on the raw water composition.

quality and is not intended for human
consumption.
