2. Select UP Directional Key, LEFT Directional Key, or DOWN
Directional Key, then press the Center Select Key [SET].
3. Select a function, then press the Center Select Key [SET].
Resetting the Internal Directional Key Settings
Use the following procedure to specify the default Internal Directional
Key settings.
1. From idle mode with the flip open, press the Center Select Key
[MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select
Key [OK]. Press  Phone Settings,  Set Shortcuts,  Set
Internal Directional Keys.
2. Select UP Directional Key, LEFT Directional Key, or DOWN
Directional Key, then press the Right Soft Key [Options].
3. Press  Reset ([UP], [LEFT] or [DOWN]) Key, or  Reset
Directional Keys.
4. Select Yes, then press the Center Select Key [OK].
Set Qwerty Shortcut
You can assign a function to be launched when any alphabetical key
on the QWERTY Keypad is pressed from idle mode with the flip open.
1. From idle mode with the flip open, press the Center Select Key
[MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select
Key [OK]. Press  Phone Settings,  Set Shortcuts,  Set
Qwerty Shortcut.
2. Select one of the following options, then press the Center Select
Key [SET]:
Off/TXT Message/Notepad/Contact List
