A face may not be detected with the Face Focus function in the
following cases:
A face that appears very large or small relative to the screen.
A face partly covered by hair, hat or glasses.
A face partly shadowed.
A face looking up or down, right or left, or tilted.
When the external display is used as a Viewfinder, only part of the
actual shooting image can be seen.
When you turn off the camera, the Best Shot and Macro settings
return to Off.
When in idle mode with the flip open, you can directly access
Take Picture mode by pressing and holding the Camera Key .
When in idle mode with the flip closed and the keypad unlocked,
pressing the Camera/Video Key functions as a hot key to Take
Picture.
With the flip closed, you can change from Take Picture mode to
Record Video mode by pressing the Camera/Video Key .

Record Video
In Record Video mode you can record video at 320 × 240 pixels with
sound.
1. From idle mode with the flip open, press the Center Select Key
[MENU], select Media Center, then press the Center Select Key
[OK]. Press Picture & Video, Record Video.
2. Press the Right Soft Key [Options] to change the following
settings:
Color Effects: Select a color effect to apply. (Normal/Black &
White/Negative/Sepia)
Recording Resolution: Select a video size. (176 × 144 / 320 ×
240)
Recording Light: Select a lighting setting. (Auto/Off/On/Only This
Shot)
