Quick Access to Convenient Features
2. To deactivate, press the Speakerphone Key 2 again to turn
SPEAKER OFF.
NOTE
To activate and deactivate the speakerphone with the flip closed:
1. With the flip closed, to unlock the handset, press the Center
Select Key, and then press  at the prompt.
2. To activate, press the Speakerphone/Flashlight Key
.
3. To deactivate, press the Speakerphone/Flashlight Key
 again.
Flashlight
To activate and deactivate the flashlight with the flip closed:
1. With the flip closed, to unlock the handset, press the Center Select
Key, and then press  at the prompt.
2. Press and hold the Speakerphone/Flashlight Key  to turn FLASH
ON.
3. From idle mode with the flip closed and the keypad unlocked,
press and hold the Speakerphone/Flashlight Key  again to turn
FLASH OFF.
Operating Your Handset with the Flip
Closed
With the flip closed, you can operate your handset using the
Alphanumerical Keypad and side keys.
When you unlock the handset and then press the Center Select
Key with the flip closed, the external display Menu will appear. The
following functions are available:
Messaging: Send a text message or view the Messages and Drafts
folders.
Contacts: Register a new contact or view and use the Contact List,
Favorites, and PTT Contact List for a phone call.
