Transmission barring
To activate or deactivate transmission barring, select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Phone settings
→
Transmission barring
→
On or Off. Note that you
should activate transmission barring before you enter the area where you
want transmission to be barred. or is displayed in the idle mode when
transmission barring is active. See Transmission barring on page 12.
Man down alarm
To set the Man down alarm or to switch it off, select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Phone
settings
→
Man down alarm
→
On or Off. Your organisation can define that you
can set on or switch off the Man down alarm by pressing the preprogrammed
key.
Remote SDS control
To activate or deactivate the remote SDS control, select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Phone settings
→
Remote SDS
→
On or Off.
Direct mode settings
Select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Direct mode settings, and select one of the
following:
•
Direct mode scanning
—
to activate or deactivate direct mode scanning.
Direct mode scanning allows you to receive calls made to the other groups
on the same channel.
•
View active direct mode device
—
to view the type and address of the
active direct mode device (repeater, gateway, or none).
Keyguard settings
Select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Keyguard settings, and select one of the following:
•
Automatic keyguard
—
to set the desired level of keyguard (Keypad or All
keys) to be activated automatically after the desired time. Select Off to
switch the automatic keyguard off. See Lock the keys (Keyguard) on
page 17 for more information about the two levels of keyguard.
