System Purge
System purge will dispense solvent in the chamber into the waste bottle. The system purge option only needs to
be utilized if power is lost during a run or to determine system back pressure. System back pressure should be
between 7.0 - 9.5 psi.
1. Select the System Menu icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. Select Tools.
3. Select Utilities.
4. Select “System Purge.”
5. Select “OK” to begin purge. The actuator will close, the dispense needle will go to the waste position, and the
pump will purge the system into the waste bottle.
6. Select “OK” when purge is complete.
