The UPS comes shipped configured for a single AC input as shown in Figure Q below.

Figure Q: Single AC Source 14-18kVA, 208 or 240VAC input and 120/240VAC output
The configuration shown in Figure Q details the connections when the UPS is fed by a
single 208 or 240VAC source and a 120/240VAC output is required. Connect the utility
supply cables to L7 and L8 and connect the grounding cable to one of the ground studs on
either side of the terminal blocks. Connect the load lines to L3, N and L4, N for 120VAC
loads. Ensure that the loads are evenly balanced between L3 and N and L4 and N.
For 240VAC loads connect the load lines to terminals L3 and L4. The load grounding
cables should be connected to the ground studs. The external battery cabinet connection
terminals are located to the far right.
