2.4 SYSTEM SWITCH OFF PROCEDURE (4-18kVA)
Step 1: Press the Inverter Stop button for at least 2 seconds.
Step 2: Turn QS4 (output switch) off.
Step 3: Turn QS1 (input switch) off. (Note: This switch controls both the utility
and the bypass paths in dual input machines.)
Step 4: All LEDs should be extinguished.
Step 5: Turn QS5 (battery switch) off.
WARNING: If the UPS is to be maintained in the OFF condition for any length of time it
shall be started up at least once every 3 months for a minimum of 24 hours in order to
recharge the batteries.
2.5 MANUAL BYPASS PROCEDURE (4-18kVA)
Step 1: Press the inverter stop button for at least 2 seconds.
Step 2: Turn on QS3 (manual bypass).
Step 3: Turn output switch, QS4, off.
Step 4: Turn the input switch, QS1, off. (Note: This switch controls both the utility
and the bypass paths in dual input machines.)
Step 5: All LEDs shall be extinguished.
Step 6: Turn the battery switch, QS5, off.
WARNING: If the UPS is to be maintained in the OFF condition for any length of time it
shall be started up at least once every 3 months in order to recharge the batteries.
CAUTION!
The Output Cabinet and UPS terminal blocks remain energized in this mode.
