2.3 SYSTEM START UP PROCEDURES
Before starting up the UPS system:
a) Ensure that the ventilation holes in the side and rear panels are unobstructed.
b) Ensure that the equipment ground connection is in place.
c)
Ensure that the UPS switches QS1, QS3, QS4 and QS5 are in the OFF (0) position.

Step 1: Join battery inter-shelf connectors A-A and C-C.
Step 2: Turn on the battery switch. (QS5)
Step 3: Turn on the input switch. (QS1)
Step 4: Wait approximately 3 seconds then close output switch. (QS4)
Step 5: Close all output circuit breakers at the output distribution module.
Step 6: Press the inverter start button on the front panel. The green LED should
illuminate.
