7.4: Preparing the chassis for installation (followed)
The inside of the chassis typically where the
motherboard is installed.
Two options are made available for the purpose of
elevating the motherboard once installed from the
chassis, one being chassis feet shown here, the
other being spacers.
These feet are placed into factory cut-out holes in
the chassis. Please note that each specific
motherboard will have designed areas for which
the use of these feet can be installed.
The feet are required to be installed onto the
chassis by pressing downward onto the chassis.
Spacers shown here are another method of
elevating the motherboard. These spacers are
provided with the chassis.
These spacers can be hand installed and tightened
with a spacer screwdriver.
