7.5: Insertion of the motherboard
A motherboard specific back plate area at the back
end of the chassis is a required installation.
The chassis’ back plate is inserted and clipped onto
its designated area.
The motherboard (pictured) can now be inserted
into the chassis given that the chassis has been
prepared for installation.
With the I/O connectors first the motherboard is
then inserted into the chassis in line with the spacers
and previously installed spacer feet.
The motherboard is securely inserted into the I/O
back plate and the peripheral connectors for the
motherboard are available to have its connectors
inserted and aligned with the spacers or chassis feet
for fastening.
The motherboard is then screwed onto the chassis.
