● Mouse: Touch Screen
● Left-click: Touch the screen once
● Double-click: Quickly touch the screen twice
● Right-click: Touch and hold your nger on the screen
1.8.1 Accessing Input Tools
Cirris Easy-Wire software sometimes requires the user to enter data. Data can be entered by attaching an external keyboard
or a barcode scanner. You can also use the PM1 write-in tool or on screen keyboard.
1. When you touch a text box in Easy-Wire, a keyboard appears.
2. To close the keyboard, press the X button in the upper right corner.
1.9 Checking the System
When the tester boots up it goes through a series of self-tests. In
the Easy-Wire main menu, you can tell if the tests pass or fail by
checking the status indicator.
1. In the Easy-Wire main menu, verify that the status indicator
displays Ready.
2. If the status indicator displays Ready the tester is working and
ready for use.
3. If the status indicator displays Error the tester failed one or
more of the self tests. Try rebooting the tester. If the problem
persists write down the error messages that appear after
launching the software and call a Cirris representative for
assistance.
1.9.1 Checking the Sound
In the Easy-Wire main menu press the sound button. You should
hear two trumpet sounds coming from your tester. If you do not
hear the sound or want to change the volume, continue with the
steps below.
1. In the Easy-Wire main menu, press Utilities.
2. Press Setup System Options.
