Configuring Line and Section Threshold
To configure line and section threshold, use the following commands:
enable
configure terminal
controller sonet 0/5/0
threshold b2-tca 3
end
To restore the system to its default condition, use the no form of the command.Note

Configuring Line Loopback
To configure loopback, use the following commands:

loopback local

Configuring AIS Shut
To configure AIS-Shut, use the following commands:
enable
configure terminal
controller sonet 0/5/0
ais-shut
end
The no ais-shut command will not send AIS.Note
