5. The auto-coding function cannot discriminate between multiple units of a single type. Each
additional units must be manually coded and assigned to the designated area e.g. Evaporative air
conditioning - E02, E03 or E04 or Ducted heating HC02, HC03 or HC04.
6. Where there is multiple units of a single type (e.g. 2 up to 4 evaporative air conditioners).

Multiple Unit Setup – Heater / Cooler
Your Touch Pad control is capable of controlling more than one type of unit. For the Touch Pad control to
communicate with each unit, the units must be coded to the Touch Pad. The following options may apply
when adding a new unit:
• Installing Ducted heater and Evaporative Air Conditioning
• Adding a Ducted Heater to an Evaporative Air Conditioner
• Adding Addon Air Conditioning to a Ducted Central Heater
• Adding an Evaporative Air Conditioner to a Ducted Central Heater.
The following product codes will be available for coding the next / new appliance to the Touch Pad control
Heating H 01
Heating c/w Addon Cooling HC 01
Evaporative Air Conditioning E 01

ORCE CODING A NEW / ADDITIONAL PRODUCT
When coding a new product there is a coding window of 3 minutes after the product has been powered on.
Once the 3 minutes has finished the unit will not accept any coding information. If the 3 minutes has been
exceed before the coding process is completed, turn the power OFF then ON at the unit.
To code a new / additional product.
STEP 1 Ensure the control is in the OFF mode.
STEP 2 A series of unseen icons must be pressed
1. Press and hold the ZONE 4 icon allowing
for a triple BEEP followed by a single
BEEP.
2. In quick succession press the unseen
SETUP icons ENTER, REVIEW &
CLOCK.
3. If successfully executed the clock LEDs
will display tP:01.
4. If unsuccessful repeat 1 and 2 of STEP 2.
