Evaporative Air Conditioning Setup
SETTING THE WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS PARAMETERS AND VALUES
There are 3 setup modes available in the water management as set out in the table below. The use of
these modes is based on 2 selection criteria:
PRECOOL – Parameter 2: The option to have the pump run for 2 minutes before the fan starts. The
benefit is that when the fan starts cool air will be delivered immediately.
PREFILL – Parameter 4: The option to have the pump prefill the tank for 2 minutes before starting the
pump operation.
DUMP VALVES Parameter 1 & 3: These setup options will only be used when the evaporative air
conditioner has a dump valve fitted .
Parameter 1 – Gives a 1 hour delay before dumping the water from the
tank. This function is particularly useful when the unit is being used in
THERM mode as it will stop premature dumping of the water.
Parameter 3 – This provides the hour dumping cycles available. These
should be set according to water hardness in the supply.
