3.1.8 - Applicator programmed vacuum not reached
The suction error appears when the equipment has not been able to reach the set vacuum for a
minute and a half (90s) and stops the treatment. This type of error is mostly related to the placing of
the applicator on the body.
The possible causes for this error could be:
- Head position and head status
- Deposit tanks in the back
- Faulty pump
- Leakage in the vacuum circuit
Head position and head status
In the great majority of cases this failure is due to the incorrect placement of the head on the body or
using improper type of applicator for the relevant zone.
Perform a visual inspection of the head both inside and outside, checking that there are no cracks
that could cause the suction loss.
In order to check if the failure due to a positioning or equipment problem, use a special test tool
(silicone pad). If not available use the methods explained in below. If the result is correct repeat the
process again with a patient.
