4.3 Addressing
1. If desired, these devices can be manually readdressed by the user.
IMPORTANT! Running the Find Devices search function will automatically clear all devices
and will address each device by the order that they respond.
To manually readdress a device, select the device and go to Tools→Addressing from the main
menu, located at the top of the main screen (Figure 4-9).
2. From the Manual Addressing dialog
box (Figure 4-10), note the device serial
number or copy it to your clipboard.
CAUTION: After the device is
removed, the controller will no longer
list that ID on the main screen.
3. Click Remove Device. This will clear the
device to enable a new address
assignment.

1. Copy the device serial number to your clipboard
before removing the device.
2. Click Remove Device.

readdressed.
