Next,removetheviewcapsontheleftcylinderhead.Theycanbe
removedwitha6mmAllenwrench.Theseviewportswillallow
determiningthattheengineisattopdeadcenter.

Thenextstepistopullthewireoffofthesparkplugandthenremovethe
sparkplug.


Finally,removetheintakeandexhaustvalvecovers.Eachcoverissecuredwithtwo8mmbolts.Note
thatthecoversarenotinterchangeable,andtheyareorientationsensitive.Therearvalvecoveris
removedwitharatchetandanextension;thefrontvalvecoverisremovedwithoutthe
ratchet
extension.


