Troubleshootingprocedure:Poorbatterychargingperformance.
Poor charging performance of
batter

Inspect if the brake lamp is
lighting normally

Adjust or replace the
brake lamp switch
Switch the ignition switch on, remove the cathode wire from the
battery, connect the negative pen of the ampere meter on the
cathode binding post of the battery, connect the positive pen on the
cathode wire and inspect the current leakage
The leakage current is
greater than the rated value
(generally, the leakage
current is less than 1mA)
The leakage current is less
than the rated value
Inspect if the magentor charging
coil is in short circuit
No
Yes
[1] Inspect if the electrolyte in the
battery is sufficient.
[2] Inspect if the electrolyte density of
the battery is excessively low.
[3] Inspect if the internal electrode
plate of the battery is vulcanized or
in short circuit.
Replace the
illumination
circuit
Short circuit of rectifier,
rectification regulator or line
from the battery to the
ignition switch
