Calibration Instructions
1. Set up the laser energy meter in a convenient location so that the sensor head can be easily
reached with the handpiece. Set the meter display unit to the ENERGY mode.
2. Ensure that all personnel in the room are wearing the appropriate eyewear.
3. Start the system, and access the Navigation service mode.
4. Follow the prompts on the calibration screen.
5. Turn off the system at the conclusion of calibration.
6. Restart the system, and verify calibration using an external meter.
CAUTION
Any work performed by unauthorized personnel will void all war-
ranties.
End of Life Disposal - Environmental Information
The GenesisPlus system must be disposed of according to local laws and hospital practices.
This product is considered electronic equipment and must not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste and must be collected separately. Please contact the manufacturer or other
authorized disposal company to decommission your equipment.
Proper disposal of electronic equipment is required according to EU Directive 2002/96/EC
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
