Each command is listed in detail, as follows:
enable igmp_snooping
Purpose To enable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
enable igmp_snooping
Description
The enable igmp_snooping command enables IGMP snooping on
the Switch.
If MLD snooping is also enabled, this operation may fail due to the
total number of group entry exceeding the limitation of the group
table.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable IGMP snooping on the Switch:
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#enable igmp_snooping
Command : enable igmp_snooping
Success.
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#
disable igmp_snooping
Purpose To disable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
disable igmp_snooping
Description
The disable igmp_snooping command disables IGMP snooping on
the Switch.
Disabling IGMP snooping allows all IGMP and IP
multicast traffic to flood within a given IP interface.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable IGMP snooping on the Switch:
DGS-1100-24P/ME:admin#disable igmp_snooping
Command : disable igmp_snooping
Success.
