Section 3 - Conguration
Pure Bridge mode disables the local DHCP server, causing your ISP to assign IP
addresses directly to any aected bridges. By default, the assigned bridge is all
Ethernet and Wi-Fi LAN clients.
Note: This feature may disable rewall features designed to help your network
resist intrusions and is not recommended unless specically required by your ISP or
network administrator.
Note: Once Pure Bridge Mode in enabled, you will no longer be able to access the
conguration interface. Once enabled, the only way to make changes is to perform a
manual factory reset by pressing and holding the reset button on the back of router.
See Rear View on page 6 to nd your reset button.
Pure Bridge
Select a network bridge from the list. By default, Bridge1 includes all
Ethernet LAN and Wi-Fi interfaces. If you wish to congure additional
bridges, they must be set rst from Bridge and VLAN on page 35
before continuing the Wizard.
Bridge to LAN:
Click Cancel to return to the homescreen, or Back to return to the previous screen.
Click Next to proceed to the Phase 1 Settings Summary on page 26.
