The CAN alarms page is subdivided into smaller sections.

4.9.3.1 CAN DATA FAIL
Configuration of the CAN data fail
alarm, providing protection against
the failure of the engine ECU data
link.
When enabled, DSE module
counts Engine Run Hours. When
disabled, Engine ECU provides
Run Hours.
When enabled, DSE module periodically ‘powers
up’ the engine ECU when the engine is stopped.
This can be utilised to provide coolant
temperature measurement when the engine is
stopped.
