Up to 32 controllers per system
Functions
Power management communication, including load-dependent start/stop, and de-loading
Load sharing communication
Power management inputs and outputs may be connected to any controller

13.14.2 Communication information
Use either the Display unit or PICUS to configure communication under Tools > Communication.

Table 13.52
Configurable communication settings
Setting Range Default Notes
Controller ID 1 to 64 1
When you change the controller ID using the display unit, you must also
update the controller ID in the PICUS single line diagram.
The system can have up to 32 controllers, with controller IDs in the
given range.
IP address mode
Static, Auto Auto
Auto: By default, the controller uses IPv6 addressing.
Static: Select to specify an IPv4 address for the controller.
IPv4 address 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255* Static IPv4 address for the controller.
Netmask 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255*
Gateway 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255*
*Note: This is the range of addresses that you can select. The range of addresses that you can actually use depends on your
network design. If you select Static, then you must give the controller a unique IPv4 address. In addition, some addresses in this
range are reserved.
CAUTION
For the new settings to take effect after selecting IPv4, you must restart the controller. Disconnect, then reconnect the
power supply.
