Prerequisites
1 Remove the base panel.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 9 in “Removing the palm rest”.
Procedure
1 Lift the latches and disconnect the touch-pad cable and the status-light cable
from the power-button board.
2 Disconnect the power-button board cable from the power-button board.
3 Remove the screws that secure the power-button board to the palm-rest
assembly.
4 Lift the power-button board off the palm-rest assembly.
