Prerequisites
1 Remove the base panel.
2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 9 in “Removing the palm rest”.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the subwoofer cable from the I/O board.
2 Lift the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
3 Remove the screws that secure the I/O board to the computer base.
4 Gently tilt and lift to release the I/O ports from the computer base.
5 Lift the I/O board off the computer base.
