3  Remove the screws that secure the interposer extender to the 
interposer-extender tray. See Figure 3-13.   
4  Lift the interposer extender out of the interposer-extender tray. See 
Figure 3-13.

Installing the Interposer Extender for 2U Node

should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your 
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and 
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not 
covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with 
the product. 
1  Place the interposer extender into the interposer-extender tray. 
2  Replace the screws that secure the interposer extender to the 
interposer-extender tray. 
3  Reconnect all the cables to the interposer extender. See Figure 5-10. 
4  Replace the system-board assembly. See "Installing a System-Board
