Installing the smart-card reader

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task

Steps
1. Align and place the smart-card reader into its slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the two screws (M1.6x1.7) to secure the smart-card reader to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Adhere the smart-card reader FFC to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Connect the smart-card reader FFC to the connector on the USH board.
