2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the speakers.

Steps
1. Disconnect the smart-card reader FFC from the connector on the USH board.
2. Peel the smart-card reader FFC from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Remove the two screws (M1.6x1.7) that secure the smart-card reader to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Lift the smart-card reader module away from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
