5 Planning the installation

► Mount the inverter so that the LEDs are always visible.

5.1.4 Outdoor Installations

The inverter has a protection degree of IP65 and can be installed
indoors and outdoors. Despite this, the inverter should be pro-
tected by a roof against direct sun, UV radiation, rain and snow.
For example, the power of the inverter will be reduced if it is
too heavily heated by solar radiation. This is normal operating
behavior for the inverter and is necessary to protect the internal
electronics.
5.1.5 Lifting and Transporting the Inverter
► The inverter must be lifted and carried by at least two
people.
