HI, MI, WI 700 service manual - 1 - Installation
1-8 Issue 9 04/2020
Moving the machine
When moving the machine the labeller should be supported to stop lateral movement.
If moving only a short distance over a smooth surface the machine can be moved carefully to its new
location with the aid of the lifting angles, supplied with the machine.
Fit the lifting angles onto the machine feet / frame, tighten the locking nut on each foot stem and transport
using a hand pallet truck or powered fork lift truck
If moving a long distance, it should be placed on a strong pallet, use lifting angles as described above and
clamped down to stop it moving on the pallet. Protect the load cell by placing the transit screw and discs in
position and support the labeller.
Protect the machine from environmental conditions and then move on the pallet by appropriate transport.
CAUTION
The machine is heavy and has a high centre of gravity, which can affect its stability when it is being
moved. Great care must be taken when moving the machine to ensure that it does not topple over.
This is especially important if moving the machine on a floor with a gradient
Lifting angles
To fit the lifting angles, loosen the foot stem locking nuts and slide the lifting angles onto the foot stems of
the machine, between the frame end and locking nut.
With lifting angle in place, retighten the locking nuts to secure lifting angle in place
