Proximity sensor operation
The proximity sensor mounted behind the applicator shoe detects when the applicator shoe has reached
the package to apply the label. When the shoe pushes against the package, it will push back on the spring
loaded mount, the pushed back position is detected by the proximity sensor which in turn retracts the
cylinder.

Applicator shoe movement. Shoe will be pushed back
against spring pressure to activate the proximity
sensor

Proximity sensor activated (orange indicator light
comes on)

The sensor must be is
adjusted correctly to ensure
the rear of the applicator

when pushed back
Adjust depth of proximity
