Before using the terminal
Entering with FSKAREN for Huawei
With FSKAREN for Huawei, the following 4 types of keyboards are
available.
■ 10 key input
Multiple characters are assigned to each key. Select from 3 types of input
methods : Flick input for entering a character by flick, toggle input for
entering a character by tapping repeatedly until a target character
appears, and 2-touch input.
·
Tap displayed during one-byte alphanumeric entry to switch upper/
lower case.
·
Flick input is input method for entering by keeping touching a key having a
line of characters assigned that includes the character you want to enter
and flicking up/down/left/right to select a character.
(Example) To enter “”
Keep touching “” key and then swipe in the direction where
“” appears (right).

10 key
❶ Display conversion candidates. Tap a candidate to enter characters.
·
To switch conversion candidate display, flick the conversion candidate
field left/right.
·
Tap to expand conversion candidate field.
❷ Change character input mode.
❸ Display the cursor screen.
·
Move the cursor or selects a range of text to copy/cut/paste.
❹ Shorten the conversion range by 1 character.
·
Moves cursor to left when there is no unfinalized text.
❺ Change the keyboard type (P. 30)
❻ Convert to katakana and alphanumerics.
·
When “Menu” is displayed, the input method can be changed or the
keyboard type can be set.
❼ Switch upper case/lower case of entering character or add voiced sound
mark/semivoiced sound mark.
❽ Close the keyboard.
❾ Use smileys/symbol list (P. 30).
Delete character to the left of the cursor. Touch and hold to delete several
characters continuously.
Expand the conversion range by 1 character.
·
Move cursor to the right when there is no finalized text.
Convert.
·
When is displayed, enter a space.
Finalize entered characters.
·
When appears, add a linefeed.
