DOM Roq® Smart Lock
Preparation
To ensure proper installation, you will need the DOM Roq® motor unit, the new locking cylin-
der already installed, the screws enclosed according to your specifications and the corre-
sponding accessories (see scope of delivery, page 4), as well as the correct tools.
Attention! Damage due to improper mounting.
Read these instructions completely and carefully before mounting. Follow the
instructions step by step. DOM accepts no liability for damage caused by im-
proper installation.
Note!
Remove all parts from the packaging and place them sorted on a separate sup-
port so that you have everything in view.
Tools
Attention! Damage resulting from the use of incorrect tools.
The tool, for mounting the DOM Roq® motor unit consists of a cross-headed
screwdriver. In addition, you may also need a cutting tool to fit the foam part.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES you should use an electric screwing device!
DOM accepts no liability for damage or faulty mounting due to the use of other
tools.
For a proper mounting you need the following tools:
 Ruler, or measuring tape
 Cross-headed screwdriver (various sizes)
 Rosette lifter, alternatively narrow slotted screwdriver if necessary (for removing the
rosette cover).
 thin wooden strip (to protect the door leaf when levering off the rosette cover)
 Drill ø 2 mm, optional only when using the adapter kit
(for through hole cross-headed sheet metal / wood screws optional for drilling through
base plate in door leaf).
Attention! Damage of the door leaf.
Pre-drilling and fixing with the additional screws damages the door leaf. This al-
ways remains visible after reverting to a normal cylinder lock!
 Drilling machine, optional only when using the adapter kit (only for pre-drilling holes
for the optional additional screw fastening of the base plate).
 Hexagon socket wrench set "Allen" (size 3).
 Carpet knife or scissors for contour cutting of the foam part.
