Round / Oval Rosette and Spanish Rosette with Screw
Connection Through the Inner Rosette
Basic Requirement: Installation on existing (inside) round, oval or spanish rosette. The
new cylinder protrudes a maximum of 4 mm from the trim.
To mount the DOM Roq® motor unit directly on the old handle set, proceed as follows:

1. Loosen and remove the rosette connecting screws. (A)
2. Remove the inner and outer rosette. (B, C)
3. Insert the key into the lock cylinder from the inside and then remove the forend screw
(fixing screw of the cylinder). (D)
4. Remove the existing (old) cylinder (E) by turning the key until the locking lug is in the
basic position (flush, 6 o'clock). You will notice that the locking lug is in the basic posi-
tion (flush, 6 o'clock) when you can pull out the cylinder with the key (see Removing
the old cylinder, page 12).
Note! The illustrations refer to the shapes (round, oval and spanish rosettes).
The illustration shows a round rosette. For an overview of the used screws in
each case, please refer to the chapter under the respective shape at "Mounting
directly on door leaf".
Note! If you have round / oval rosettes which are each independently fixed to
the outside and inside of the door leaf and a connection to the outside rosette is
not possible, please use the installation chapter "Round / Oval Rosette and
Spanish Rosette Without Screw Connection Through Inside Rosette".
