Long Plate Inside Without Visible Screw Connection
Basic Requirement: Inner plate is not connected to the outer plate with visible screws. The
screws are covered by a trim.
This means that you have no possibility to fix the motor unit with ex-
isting screws without removing the trim. The cylinder must protrude
from the inner plate by a minimum of 4.5 mm to a maximum of
maximum 9 mm.
If your handle set has visible connecting screws on the inside plate, follow the instructions
Long With Screw Connection Through Inside Plate (page 29).
To fix the DOM Roq® motor unit in front of the old handle set, proceed as follows:

Attention!
Dismounting and mounting should only be executed with the door open and se-
cured against closing.
1. Remove the forend screw. (A)
2. Remove the existing (old) cylinder (B) by turning the key until the locking lug is in the
basic position (flush, 6 o'clock). You will notice that the locking lug is in the basic posi-
tion (flush, 6 o'clock) when you can pull out the cylinder with the key (see also Re-
moving the cylinder, page 12).
