To measure the cylinder lengths (A = outer length on the outside of the door and B = inner
length on the inside of the door) of the existing cylinder (measured on the cylinder body, not
on the cores. This usually protrude 1-2 mm) to measure proceed as follows:
1. Use a ruler or order a DOM measuring aid from your DOM dealer. (See also You
Tube help from DOM.)
2. Measure exactly the distance with the ruler from the outside (length A) to the middle
of the forend screw (fixing screw of the cylinder) and then from the inside to the mid-
dle of the forend screw (length B).
3. This will give you the dimensions (A and B) of your old cylinder, which are required to
determine the new cylinder accordingly.
