DOM Roq® Spanish Rosette

DOM Roq® Smart Lock
Spanish Rosette
Basic Requirement: Inner and outer rosette are connected (screwed).
To mount the DOM Roq® motor unit directly on the door leaf, proceed as follows:
DOM Roq® Fig. 19: Spanish Rosette
Attention!
Dismounting and mounting should only be executed with the door open and se-
cured against closing.
1. Remove the trim (levering off) with the rosette lifter and the thin wooden strip (to pro-
tect the door leaf). (A)
Note! If you have a "spanish rosette" which is attached to the outside and in-
side of the door leaf independently and a connection (from the inside to the out-
side) to the outside rosette is not possible (through-screwing), the installation
option round / oval rosette and spanish rosette ("without screwing through the
inside rosette", from page 46) should be used if possible. In this case, the DOM
Roq® is mounted on the existing inner rosette and screwed to the cylinder.
An adapter kit is required for this kind of mounting!
If this is not possible, contact your DOM specialist dealer.
Note!
If you do not have a rosette lifter, you must "lever off" the trim with the small
slotted screwdriver and the wooden strip (to protect the door leaf). There is a
small slot in the lower part of the trim for this purpose. (see Fig. 19)
Note!
If you have a version with screws through the trim, loosen and remove the
screws and remove the inner and outer fittings, skipping points 2, 3 and 4.
