Prepare Mounting
With every DOM Roq® order, you will receive a box containing the parts you need to mount
the DOM Roq® on your door (see also scope of delivery page 7).
Before starting to dismount / mount the individual elements, make sure you have the tools
and aids listed in the Preparation / Tools section available.
1. First check whether the door closes properly. Test whether a frictionless running of
the bolt (no pushing / pulling when locking / unlocking) and the latch is possible
when the door is closed.
2. Check whether the door is "warped".
3. Is there a socket outlet within 5 m of the door for the connection adapter (gateway) (if
necessary, move an extension socket outlet to this area)?
4. Are all parts for the mounting (new parts, see Scope of Delivery, page 7) available?
5. Do you have all the required tools (see page 13)?
6. Is the battery pack charged?
(A charge can take up to 8 hours.)
Note! The door to be equipped should always be equipped with a properly work-
ing mortise lock.
Note!
If the door does not close properly or you feel that the door is not working
properly, you should stop the installation and contact the specialist trade.
