•Disconnectsafetychains.Crankjacktoraiseeyeorcouplerfromhitch.T ow
vehiclecanbemoved.

Thisunitmustbelocatedonvehiclebedtoallowaccessfornormalservicingand
maintenance.
Theairgoingintotheinletmustberelativelyfreeofoil,dirt,sootandotherdebris.Itmust
benomorethan10°F(5°C)overtheambienttemperature.
BeforeStarting
•Openservicevalve(s)toensurepressureisrelievedinreceiver-separatorsystem.
Closevalve(s)inordertobuildupfullairpressureandensureproperoilcirculation.
•Checkbatteryforproperconnectionsandcondition.
•Checkenginecoolantlevel.
DonotremoveRadiatorPressureCapfromaHOTradiator.Allow
radiatortocooldownbeforeremovingpressurecap.Useextremecare
whenremovingapressurecapfromaliquidcoolingsystemforthe
engine.Thesuddenreleaseofpressurefromaheatedcoolingsystem
canresultinalossofcoolantandpossibleseverepersonalinjury.
•Checktheengineoillevel.Maintainpermarksondipstick.
•Checkthefuellevel.AddonlyCLEANultralowsulfurdieselfuelformaximum
servicefromengine.
