Useextremecaretoavoidcontactinghotsurfaces(engineexhaust
manifold,piping,airreceiver,andairdischargepiping,etc.).
Neveroperatethismachinewithanyguardsremoved.
Inchandmetrichardwarewasusedinthedesignandassemblyofthis
unit.Consultthepartsmanualforclaricationofusage.
Disregardanymaintenancepertainingtocomponentsnotprovidedon
yourmachine.
Inadditiontoperiodicinspections,manyofthecomponentsintheseunitsrequire
periodicservicingtoprovidemaximumoutputandperformance.Servicingmayconsist
ofpre-operationandpost-operationprocedurestobeperformedbytheoperatingor
maintenancepersonnel.Theprimaryfunctionofpreventivemaintenanceistopreventfailure,
andconsequently,theneedforrepair.Preventivemaintenanceistheeasiestandtheleast
expensivetypeofmaintenance.Maintainingyourunitandkeepingitcleanatalltimeswill
facilitateservicing.
ScheduledMaintenance
Themaintenancescheduleisbasedonnormaloperationoftheunit.Thispagecan
bereproducedandusedasachecklistbytheservicepersonnel.Intheeventunusual
environmentaloperatingconditionsexist,thescheduleshouldbeadjustedaccordingly.
CompressorOilLevel
Checkthecompressoruidlevelwhenthemachineisnotoperating.Maintaintheuidlevel
betweenbottomandmidwayofthesightglassontheseparatortank.
AirCleaner
Toservicetheaircleanersonallunitsproceedasfollows:
1.Loosenthe2latchesonthesidesoftheaircleanercover.
2.Removeaircleanerbody.
3.Pulloutaircleanerelement.
