likelytocausetheburningofbearings.Assuch,ifoil,air,orgasleaksoccur,check
theleakingpartsandsolvetheproblem.
DuringOperation
1.Ifoilpressuredropstoolow,itmaycauseabnormalwearandburningofbearings.If
oilpressureistoohigh,itmaycauseoilleakage.
2.Continuingtooperatetheengineafternoisesorvibrationscomingfromtheengine
arenotedmayleadtoseriousenginedamage.Assuch,ifnoisesorvibrationscome
fromtheengine,slowlydecreasetherpmtostoptheengineandexaminethecause.
Shutdown
Donotsuddenlyshutdowntheengineafteritwasoperatedunderhighloadsforalongperiod.
Ifoilburnsbecauseofheatsentfromthehigh-temperatureturbinebladetothebearingpart,
thebearingmetalandrotatingshaftmayburn.Assuch,iftheenginewasoperatedunder
highloadsforalongperiod,sufcientlyruntheengineatidlebeforeshutdown.
Break-inPeriodofEngine
Doosanenginesaresubjectedtoanalapprovaltesttoensuretheprovisionofhighquality
enginesbeforebeingshipped.However,enginesarenotoperatedforalongperiodoftimein
thistest.Therefore,newenginesrequireabreak-inperiodduringtheinitial50hoursafter
delivery.Byproperlybreaking-inanengine,thehighestlevelsofengineperformancecan
bemaintainedlong-term.
Iftheengine'sbearingsarenotproperlybrokenin,theymaybeeasilydamagedandthe
lifetimeoftheenginemaybeshortenedbyoverloadingorhigh-speeds.Inordertoprevent
this,pleasefollowtheguidelinesbelowfortheinitial50hoursafterdeliveryofnewengine.
1.Fullywarmuptheengineuntiltheenginetemperaturereachesthenormaloperation
condition,beforestartingoperationoftheengine.
2.DonotoverloadtheengineoroperateitattoohighRPM.
3.Donotoperatetheenginewithhighspeedatidle.
4.Donotrapidlystartuporshutdown.
5.Operatetheenginewithlessthan70%oftheengineload.
6.Inspection,check,andrepairofenginesshouldbemanagedbyofcially-certied
techniciansatcertiedservicecentersincompliancewithcorrespondingrules.

1.Periodicallychecktoverifytheengineoillevelisbetweentheminimumandmaximum
