Sincetheservicevalveisclosed,airdownstreamofthevalvemaybe
trapped.Aventholeintheservicevalvewillslowlybleedairfromthe
hose.Donotdisconnecthosesuntilallpressurehasbeenvented.
DoNOTwirearoundorbypassashutdownsensororswitch.
PressureRegulatorAdjustmentInstructions
BeforeStarting
1.OnthePressureRegulator,loosenthejamnutandturnscrewcounterclockwiseuntil
tensionisnolongerfeltatthescrew.Then,turnscrewclockwiseonefullturn.
2.Closeservicevalve(s).
AfterStarting
1.PushtheServiceAirbuttonontheControlPanel.Theunitshouldspeedupandthen
unload(anddropbacktoIDLE).Withtheunitunloaded,turntheadjustingscrewon
thePressureRegulatorclockwiseuntiltheDischargePressureGaugeindicates
125–130psi.TightenthePressureRegulatorjamnut.
2.ToobtainmaximumCFMatanypressurebetween80psi(550kPa)andmaximum
pressurerating(*),makeadjustmentatthePressureRegulatortoobtaindesired
dischargepressureatFULLenginespeed.Lockadjustingscrew.
