Ifyoucannotaccuratelychecktheoillevelthroughtheoillevelgauge,
rotatetheoillevelgaugeto180degree,putitintheguidetube,andthen
pickitoutagaintocheck.
2.Iftheoilindicatorlampontheapparatusisturnedonorblinks,theoilpressuremay
beinsufcient.Inthiscase,checktheoillevelandreplenishoilifrequired.When
replenishingengineoil,donotexceedthemaximumontheoillevelgauge.Ifthe
oillevelisnormal,checkotherrelatedpartssuchastheoilpressuresensor,oil
pump,oroilline.
Theoilpressuremayincreasewithhighrpmanddecreasewithlow
rpm.Inaddition,thepressureofcoldoilmaybehigherataspecicrpm
thanofwarmoil.Thisphenomenonmayevenoccurwhentheengine
operatesproperly.
3.Checkthecoolantgaugeontheapparatustoensurethecoolantiscirculating
properly.Ifthecoolantlevelinthesupplementarytankistoolow,thecoolantgauge
maybeinaccurate.
4.Replaceengineoilandoillterafterthebreak-inperiod.
Ifengineoilandoillterneedtobereplaced,useonlygenuineengine
oilandpartsrecommendedbyDoosan.
OperationafterBreak-in
Slowlypreheattheenginewhenstartingupduringcoldweatherorinareaswithcoldclimate.
Donotrapidlyraisetherpmwhiletheenginehasnotbeenproperlypreheatedyet.The
engineconsumesadditionaloiluntilitspistonringsarepositionedproperlyandoperates
successfully.Pleasechecktheengineoillevelfrequentlyfortheinitial50hoursofthe
break-inperiod.
InspectionafterStartingtheEngine
Checkthepressureoftheenginelubricationsystembyusingtheengineoilpressuregauge
mountedontheapparatuswhiletheengineisinoperation.Ifpressuredecreasesonoil
pressuregauge,immediatelyshutdowntheengine.Inaddition,makesurethattherecharge
alarmindicatorlampofthealternatoristurnedoffwhiletheengineisoperating.
