6.WaitforEngineTemperaturetoreach150°F(65°C).PressServiceAirButton.The
thirdlightontheStartButtonwillilluminate.
Toensureanadequateowofoiltotheairend,neverallowthedischarge
pressuretofallbelow50psi.
NormalOperation
TheoperatormayobserveandmonitoroperatingparametersusingtheMini-Portand
gauges.Intheeventthecompressorcontrollerdetectsaparameteroutsidenormaloperating
limits,thecompressorwillalertand/orshutdown,anddisplayadiagnosticcode.
Intheeventthecompressorcontrollerdetectsaparameteratadangerouslyhighorlowlevel,
thecompressorwillbeautomaticallyshutdownwiththecauseoftheshutdownshownon
theMini-Port.
OperationLoaded
Assumeenginehasbeenstartedandisrunningintheunloadstateatidlespeed.Ifthereisair
demand(pressurefallsbelowtheloadpointpressure),compressorwillloadatidlespeedby
openingtheinletvalve.Asairdemandrisesandfalls,enginespeediscontrolledbetweenidle
speedandfullloadspeedtomatchtherequiredowwhilemaintainingloadpointpressure.
OperationUnloaded
Ifthereisnoairdemandatidlespeed(pressurerisesabovetheunloadpointpressure),the
compressorwillunloadbyclosingtheinletvalve.Thecompressorthenrunsatidlespeed
unloadedwithnoairdelivery.Ifairdemandincreases(pressurefallsbelowtheloadpoint
pressure),thecompressorreloadstomeettherequiredairdemand.
Shutdown
1.CloseallServiceValves.
2.Allowtheenginetoidlefor3minutestocooldown.
3.PresstheRedStopButton.
4.PresstheMainPowerButtonwhenuseofthecompressorisnotneeded.
Note:UntilMainPowerButtonispressed,thegaugescanbereadandtheMini-Port
canbenavigatedusingtheUP ,DOWN,andENTERButtons.
5.IftheMainPowerButtonisnotpressedwithin3minutes(ifambienttemperatureis
above45°F(7°C)or15minutesifambienttemperatureis45°F(7°C)orbelowofthe
keypadusethecompressorwillautomaticallyshutoff.
