1.Inordertomaintainthebestlongtermperformanceandsafety,pleasereadand
understandthismanualandperformroutineinspectionsandregularinspections.
2.Wehavedividedthecontentofthissectionintocausesofbodilyinjuryanddamageto
assetsandcausesofpollution.
Whenasafetyaccident,suchasskincontactwithcorrosiveacidsorfuel,
burnswithhotoil,exposureofeyestofuelorantifreeze,occurswhile
starting,inspecting,orrepairinganengine,seeadoctorimmediately.
CautionsforStartingtheEngine
1.Beforestartingtheengine,pleasereadthismanualcarefullyandfullyunderstand
Danger,Warning,andCaution.Ifyoucannotfullyunderstanditorhaveany
questions,pleasecontactus.
2.Forsafetyreasons,attachWarningsignsaroundenginesinoperationtokeeppeople
otherthanworkersfromaccessingtheengines.Letengineoperatorsknowthatthey
areresponsibleforthesafetyoftheengineroom.
3.Onlyauthorizedpeoplemaystartandoperateengines.Unauthorizedpeopleshould
notbeallowedtohandleengines.
4.Donotaccessrunningorrotatingpartswhiletheengineisinoperation.
5.Becarefulnottotouchorcontacttheengineduringoperationsinceitbecomeshot
duringoperation.
